About Our Department

The Religious Studies department has undergone steady expansion over the past seven years and now employs 4 teachers. Three classrooms are designated for our use.

Religious Studies forms part of core education for all pupils from S2 to S4 and there is a continuing element in the curriculum through elective choice for S5-6 pupils. In session 2003/4 we will be teaching two Standard Grade classes in Third and Fourth year as well as two Higher/Intermediate 2 classes in S5/6.

All members of the department are committed to providing an enjoyable and stimulating experience for our pupils in an atmosphere which encourages open discussion of issues of belief and morality.
